This explains what happens to the details you send me through the enquiry form.

Who I am

I’m Silvia Chacon, a dental hygienist working as a sole trader. I decide how the details you send me are used, which makes me the data controller. You can reach me through the enquiry form.

What I collect

• Your name and email address.
• Your phone number, if you choose to give it.
• Whatever you write in your message.
• Your IP address, which is used only to stop spam and is not stored with your enquiry.

Please don’t put medical details in the message box. We can talk those through together later.

Why, and my legal basis

I use your details to reply to your enquiry. The legal basis is that you asked me to get in touch, so I’m taking steps at your request.

Who else sees it

Your message is delivered to my inbox by an email service (Resend) and arrives in my email account. The site is hosted on Render, with Cloudflare handling the domain and security. They handle data on my behalf and only to run those services. Some of them may process data outside the UK, under the safeguards they provide. I don’t sell your details or use them for marketing.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiries for up to 12 months and then delete them, unless we carry on corresponding and you ask me to keep them.

Your rights

You can ask to see what I hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. You can also object to how I use it. Send me a message through the enquiry form and I’ll deal with it. If you’re not happy with my answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Cookies and tracking

This site stores one setting in your browser: whether you prefer the light or dark theme. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.
